Industry Day

July 20, 2022

Calls are open for:

The Industry Day is meant to provide companies interested in Computational Intelligence applications (either as solution providers or as adopters) with:

  • Speakers: branding of their own products to a large audience; opportunity to hire the best and brightest students coming up within CI;
  • Start-ups: opportunity to meet with larger companies who may want to purchase their goods/services or their company; opportunity to pitch new ideas to Venture Capitalist;
  • Venture capital: opportunity to screen great ideas coming from CIS for investment opportunity;
  • Small companies: opportunity to advertise their products, engage with new customers and/or new prospective employees;
  • Large companies: opportunity to hire the best possible ML/AI researchers and programmers and showcase their future direction in this area.
  • AI/ML Researchers: opportunity to bridge the gap between research and production systems for the benefit of both sides.

The Industry day will focus on presentations, demos, events from companies, covering a wide range of sectors and technologies.
The day will offer to industrial partners and researchers a view of the applications that are being developed using Computational Intelligence.

The program will include a Visionary Keynote speaker on AI/CI future, scientific special sessions devoted to industrial applications (CI Approaches for Industry 4.0 and CI for Metals Science and Technology), industry presentations, focused panels,  trade-show floor & multiple networking opportunities. Breakout rooms will be available for Startup pitches and VCs.

Sponsorship

IEEE WCCI provides a unique platform for industrial sponsors to present themselves to potential employees in the area of AI and Computational Intelligence.

The IEEE WCCI is the largest technical event in the field of computational intelligence, with over 2,000 participants, hosting three conferences: the 2022 International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN 2022 – co-sponsored by International Neural Network Society – INNS), the 2022 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE 2022), and the 2022 IEEE Congress on Evolutionary Computation (IEEE CEC 2022) under one roof. It encourages cross-fertilization of ideas among the three big areas and provides a forum for intellectuals from all over the world to discuss and present their research findings on computational intelligence.

Most of our participants benefit from tailored career opportunities presented at the conferences. We intend to support the young professionals to such career opportunities at IEEE WCCI. Our participants’ expertise goes well beyond algorithm design and covers various applications.

More details about sponsorship opportunities are available here.
